The Columbia World Projects Impact Awards support faculty and researchers from across Columbia University who seek to address pressing societal challenges with innovative solutions that have the potential to scale and accelerate impact. This year, the awards focused on the theme of "Enabling Thriving Communities," aiming to advance the well-being and resilience of communities.
The call for proposals was shared across Columbia’s schools, institutes, centers and affiliates. Proposals were required to include faculty across disciplines, collaboration with external partners, focus on social impact work, demonstrate student engagement and plan for measurable outcome/impact.
In May, Columbia World Projects announced the three recipients of the second CWP Impact Awards.
