Eliza Marie Tagle
Eliza Marie Tagle is a rising junior at Barnard College majoring in Biology. She is the incoming Junior Representative to the Board of Trustees of the Barnard Student Government Association after serving the past academic year as the Representative for Information and Technology. Eliza also dedicates time to her role as Social Chair of Columbia University's Liga Filipina. Eliza is an avid piano player, the host of a radio show that highlights Original Pinoy Music, and a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). You can often find her relaxing in the green chairs of Milstein Library. Eliza lived in the Philippines until the age of four before migrating to the U.S. and has had the opportunity to visit the Philippines' rural and urban communities in recent years. She hopes to pursue social impact projects related to global public health and women's health. Eliza is proud to belong to the inaugural cohort of the Social Impact Fellowship and looks forward to collaborating with peers and honing her leadership skills.
