Ellie George is a rising senior at Barnard College double-majoring in Architecture and English. Her social impact area of interest is inclusive urbanism and seeking sustainable, resilient, accessible, and affordable solutions for building liveable cities for all residents, especially those most vulnerable. She applied to the Social Impact Fellowship to explore her passion for the built environment alongside others who share the desire to create social change. Living and learning in New York City inspires her to reflect on her own actions and privileges in society. She hopes to leave the program with a more concrete awareness of ways to positively impact the communities around her.
