Sarah Silliman
Sarah joined Columbia World Projects in July 2019. As part of the project management team, she works across projects to support their success and enable project teams to productively work together to achieve impact. She has more than 15 years of experience in organizational and management, and has worked on a range of U.S. and international projects with stakeholders including academics, government agencies, multi-lateral institutions, non-profit and community-based organizations, as well as trade groups and private companies. Prior to joining CWP, Sarah served as the Director of Development at Cicatelli Associates, Inc. (CAI), a large New York City non-profit focused on research and education to address health inequities. Before that, Sarah was the Director of Programs for the Huairou Commission, an international network devoted to women-led development; she worked on issues such as housing rights, HIV/AIDS, community resilience, and local governance with partner organizations in more than 40 countries. She holds a master’s degree in international development from the New School.
