Shruti is returning to Columbia World Projects as a Project Officer on the Research & Engagement team, bringing her engineering background to questions of technology and development. Previously, she was a software engineer at Apple, where she contributed to early foundational models for Apple Intelligence. 

As a Google Public Policy Fellow, she worked on transatlantic digital governance and free expression online. Shruti holds a Master of Public Administration in Development Practice from Columbia and a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.
