Adam Roble
Adam Roble is a Political Science student at Columbia University pursuing a Business Concentration. His social impact interests lie at the intersection of governance, economic development, and access to essential services. As the child of immigrants, he developed an early interest in how communities mobilize resources across borders and how institutions shape opportunities for vulnerable populations. Observing the role that remittances and diaspora networks play in supporting families and communities inspired his interest in how systems, policies, and organizations can create durable pathways for opportunity and development. Through publishing legal articles and conducting local government policy analysis, Adam has examined how legal, and economic frameworks shape global health, public policy, and access to essential services. Adam applied to the Social Impact Fellowship to better understand how leaders across sectors translate ideas into durable, community-centered solutions. Through the program, he hopes to deepen his understanding of systems change, implementation, and cross-sector collaboration while exploring how governments, businesses, and community organizations can better support immigrant and diaspora communities both locally and globally.
