Nayantara Narayanan
Nayantara Narayanan is a rising senior at Barnard College majoring in Economics with a minor in History. Her interests lie at the intersection of economic opportunity, gender, and social impact, with a particular focus on impact investing, blended finance models, and the design and evaluation of programs that create sustainable social change.
Alongside her academic work, she is deeply interested in storytelling as a tool for social change. Through policy writing at the Centre for Law and Policy Research, creative nonfiction and poetry, and a recent creative writing program in Paris, she has explored how stories shape identity, belonging, and public understanding. She will continue her studies through Columbia SIPA's 4+1 Master's in International Affairs program. Through the Social Impact Fellowship, she hopes to deepen her understanding of cross-sector collaboration and learn how rigorous analysis, effective implementation, and compelling storytelling can work together to create meaningful impact.
