Moisa Saidu
Moisa Saidu is a doctoral student and graduate research assistant at Teachers College, Columbia University. With demonstrated expertise as an educator, trainer, and social justice advocate, Moisa has supported women, youth, and communities through rights-based initiatives across Africa and Europe. He previously led the FCDO-funded Africa Human Rights Education Project for Amnesty International and later contributed to U.S.-based international development efforts, including a migrant youth education program in West Texas. Moisa is interested in learning about the agency of refugee youth and their educational outcomes, as well as examining the tension between student voice and institutional structures. Moisa holds a B.A. in Education. He earned his Master of Arts in Sustainable International Development from the Heller School at Brandeis University and his Master of Education with a concentration in African Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
