Caden Ketchman
Caden Ketchman is a junior at Columbia University majoring in Medical Humanities, where he explores how culture, ethics, and policy shape health systems across borders. His academic and research interests center on translating global health research into equitable, community-based solutions.
Caden’s current work focuses on the Hungarian health care system. After conducting a field study on cardiovascular disease and access to care, he is now expanding his research to include physician narratives and structural analysis to better understand how health policies affect patients on the ground. Through this work, he aims to contribute to reforms that reflect both clinical realities and cultural contexts.
Through the Social Impact Fellowship, Caden hopes to deepen his understanding of how social change happens and gain tools to transform research into meaningful health interventions — both in Central Europe and beyond.
