Apolline Ancel
Apolline Ancel is a senior at Columbia University’s School of General Studies, pursuing a dual degree with Sciences Po Paris in Political Science. Her commitment to social impact began in France, where she led a team of 50 volunteers supporting immigrant families through language learning and academic tutoring. That experience revealed the need for deeper community empowerment and systemic solutions. Now based in New York, Apolline continues this work with a focus on addressing youth housing insecurity and expanding community participation in local social impact initiatives. Her goal is to center those most affected in the design and implementation of solutions, whether through grassroots action or policy. As a Social Impact Fellow, she hopes to deepen her ability to build sustainable, inclusive projects that create long-term change. Apolline aims to bridge policy and grassroots initiatives to combat socio-economic inequality through sustainable, human-centered housing solutions, on both sides of the Atlantic.
