Carolina Concha Arriagada
Carolina Concha-Arriagada is an assistant professor of economics and education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Previously, she was a postdoctoral scholar at the Development Innovation Lab at the University of Chicago. Her work focuses on education, development, applied microeconomics, and political economy. She received her PhD in Economics from Georgetown University. Her research focuses on educational and social mobility. She currently has projects in Chile, the Dominan Republic, and Perú. She uses RCTs and quasi-experimental designs in her research. In the Dominican Republic, she is advising the Vice Minister of Education in the experimental evaluation of four programs, including activities related to engagement with government officials on the relevance of using RCTs to rigorously evaluate public policies.
