Stachel joined Columbia World Projects as a Project Officer in September 2024. Prior to joining CWP, she was a Senior Program Coordinator at 92NY's Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact, where she led administration and operations while providing programmatic support across various initiatives, including efforts to reduce polarization and advance women in leadership.

Before her role at 92NY, Stachel served as a Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA at the Feinstein Institute for Public Service at Providence College, where she oversaw the strategic planning and implementation of college and career access initiatives for low-income and first-generation college students. She also contributed to corporate partnership efforts at Oxfam America.

Stachel holds an MA in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University’s Heller School for Social Policy and Management and a BA in Political Science and Public and Community Service Studies from Providence College.
