Congressman Adriano Espaillat
New York’s Thirteenth Congressional District
Representative Adriano Espaillat proudly represents New York’s Thirteenth Congressional District. He was sworn into office on January 3, 2017, during the 115th Congress. He serves as a member of the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee, the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, and the House Small Business Committee. He serves as Senior Whip in the House Democratic Caucus, Whip of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, (CHC) and Deputy Whip of the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC). Prior to his election to Congress, Rep. Espaillat served in the New York State Senate (2011-2016) and New York State Assembly (1997-2010). Rep. Espaillat is a graduate of Queens College.
