William O’Connell
Postdoctoral Research Scholar
William O’Connell is a postdoctoral researcher for the Money and Finance Idea Lab in the Center for Political Economy. He completed his PhD at the University of Toronto in 2024. His research focuses on international finance, global governance, and the political economy of multinational corporations. His book project – The Politics of Moral Hazard in International Finance – develops of history of international cooperation in managing financial crises.
