Ava Zlatchin
Ava Zlatchin is a senior at Barnard College studying Economics. She is passionate about helping more women acquire and retain high-level positions in the workplace through leveraging the power of sports. As a former Division 1 student-athlete, Ava knows firsthand the advantages of playing competitive sports growing up, and is interested in expanding access and opportunities for more girls and women to experience the same.
Her work during the Social Impact Fellowship will be focused on using a public-private partnership model to create a system that connects high-level female professionals with young girls interested in, or already involved with, competitive sports. Through the Fellowship, Ava hopes to develop a better understanding of how she can most effectively make a positive impact on her areas of interest, as well as form meaningful connections with mentors and activists in the social impact world.
