Sarah Browne
Sarah Browne is a junior at the School of General Studies majoring in English on the Dual BA with Trinity College Dublin. Her social impact areas of interest include inclusive urbanism and addressing educational disparities across two global capitals: Dublin and New York. Sarah's passion for arts education and community activism drove her to volunteer with the European Solidarity Corps in France where she established art-based support groups and creative workshops geared towards social integration.
Sarah applied to the Fellowship to gain an understanding of how to effectively launch initiatives which may provide sustainable, creative outlets for disadvantaged communities. This vision is aimed at elevating self-expression in order to offset stigma by way of creating space for comparative understandings of varied selfhoods. Ultimately, using the knowledge acquired in the Fellowship, Sarah aspires to work cross-culturally to ensure all children have equal access to culture and art as a fundamental right.
