Today, President Lee C. Bollinger announced that Hillary Rodham Clinton will join Columbia University in February as a Presidential Fellow with Columbia World Projects (CWP) and as a member of the faculty at Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs.
"This is a tremendously exciting opportunity for all of us,” said Wafaa El-Sadr, Executive Vice President, Columbia Global, “we look forward to welcoming this extraordinarily accomplished global leader, seasoned politician and passionate advocate for women, children, and social justice."
In her role as Presidential Fellow, Secretary Clinton will help shape the work of CWP in the area of renewing democracy during a transformational time, help plan and participate in select convenings and will contribute to priority programming in a number of additional topic areas - from climate to global development to youth empowerment.
