The Obama Foundation Scholars program, a part of Columbia World Projects, launched the application for its second cohort of scholars on Friday, inviting rising social change leaders from across the world to apply to come to New York for a year-long immersive program through Columbia University and the Obama Foundation.
“If this year’s class is any indication, we are excited see the talented change-makers from around the world who will apply to be part of the 2019-2020 class of Obama Foundation Scholars,” Lisa Dolberry Hancock, director of the program for Columbia, said in a statement. “Columbia World Projects connects academic research with the work of practitioners outside of the university. The Obama Foundation Scholars have already proved crucial to that mission, and we’re thrilled to see how the next cohort will continue to advance it.”
The application for the 2019-2020 program, which runs from August of 2019 until the spring of 2020, is available here.
