How will a summer with Columbia Global shape these future impact leaders?
Columbia Global is excited to announce its latest cohort of Social Impact Fellows at Columbia University – a group of 15 rising juniors and seniors who have demonstrated their dedication to solving the world’s most pressing global challenges.
During this five-week summer fellowship, these remarkable students will deepen their understanding of key topics for effective social impact and build practical skills necessary to drive meaningful change. They will meet and learn from a variety of social impact leaders and prepare for careers in the field through a series of workshops focused on career readiness, public speaking, storytelling, and human-centered design.
Each student will bring a diversity of interests to the fellowship, including linguistic equity, healthcare engineering, education access, and restorative justice, as they dedicate themselves to engaging in work that translates theory and research into sustainable social and institutional change.
Initiated in 2022 by Columbia World Projects, the Social Impact Fellowship program is part of a series of education and training opportunities for students and faculty aimed at advancing human welfare and confronting the great challenges of our time.
