Darragh McConnell
Darragh joined Columbia World Projects in 2020. Prior to this, she worked in senior management and organizational strategy roles driving multi-sectoral partnerships and building innovative portfolios to support child health and global development, education, and the arts. She was Vice President, Strategic Partnerships at 100 Resilient Cities – an initiative pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation. For eight years Darragh held various leadership roles at UNICEF’s National Committees, including Managing Director of Foundation Partnerships and Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships in the U.K. where she was responsible for government and foundation partnership strategy and programmatic grant oversight of global health and global development projects. Before joining UNICEF in 2010, she led affiliate programs and grantmaking portfolios at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the Guggenheim Museum in New York, and at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London. She holds an MPA in Public Administration and Management from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a BA in Art History and Philosophy from UCD, Ireland.
