Early Career Faculty Invited to Apply for Impact Fellowship
This is a year-long program for early career faculty at Columbia University’s schools and affiliates. The fellowship, which was launched in 2023, is designed to support faculty in exploring ways in which their scholarly work and research can be broadened to achieve social impact.

Columbia World Projects is excited to introduce the sixth cohort of Obama Foundation Scholars. From combating fake news in Southeast Asia and uplifting youth in Brazil's favelas, to driving transformative education in war-torn Ukraine and fostering democracy in El Salvador, our newest Scholars are at the forefront of global social impact. The 12 emerging social change leaders, selected from across the globe, will spend a full academic year at Columbia University.

Ten rising juniors and seniors arrive for Social Impact Fellowship, a six-week Summer Session of workshops and seminars at Columbia World Projects followed by an academic year of programming.
