Kalil Erazo
Dr. Kalil Erazo is a project lead, representing the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC). Dr. Erazo is a research professor at the INTEC (Dominican Republic) and an adjunct faculty in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rice University (USA). Dr. Erazo earned his BSCE degree from INTEC, a MSCE degree from Georgia Tech as a Fulbright Fellow, and a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont. Dr. Erazo’s research is centered in the development and application of robust probabilistic and statistical learning methods to assess the state of structural integrity of civil infrastructure systems. His research is aimed at improving the sustainability and resiliency of civil infrastructure systems subjected to extreme events such as earthquakes and hurricanes.
